11 reports over the receipts you have issued

Registers, donor and head-wise breakdowns, collection trends and financial-year summaries — filtered, totalled, and exported to CSV, Excel (XLSX) and PDF. Every figure is counted from your own receipts, and every report states which receipts it counted.

What can Jinseva Receipts report on?

Everything it reports on is a view over receipts your organisation has already entered. Nine reports cover day-to-day accounting and donor analysis; two prepare the donor-wise information behind Form 10BD and Form 10BE.

Each report names, on screen and in every exported file, which receipts it included — every receipt including drafts, issued receipts only, or issued and voided together — and the period it covers. Two reports on one screen can therefore be reconciled rather than argued about.

The reports

Each takes filters — financial year or a date range, donation head, donation type, payment method, donor, minimum amount — and each can be sorted and exported.

Receipt register
Every receipt in number order, drafts and voided receipts included, so gaps and voids are visible.
Donation register
Issued receipts only, in date order, with a running total — the money actually received.
Donor report
One row per donor: how much they gave, over how many receipts, and when they last gave.
Head-wise report
Donations grouped by donation head, with each head’s share of the total.
Donation type report
Donations grouped by type. Corpus donations are flagged — Form 10BD reports them separately.
Payment mode report
Donations grouped by how they were received. Cash totals are what a reconciliation starts from.
Daily collection
One row per calendar day with a receipt. Days with no donations are omitted, not shown as zero.
Monthly collection
Donations by calendar month, for trend and year-on-year comparison.
Financial year summary
One row per Indian fiscal year (1 April – 31 March), with issued, voided and 80G totals.

The two government forms, described accurately

Both are preparation views. Neither is a filing, and neither is certified.

Form 10BD — donor-wise statement
Donor-wise aggregation for a financial year, in the dimensions Form 10BD asks about.
Form 10BE — certificate preparation
One row per donor who must receive a certificate, with the totals that certificate would state.

Both carry a notice on screen and in the header of every CSV, Excel and PDF export, so the file a trust hands to its auditor carries the same warning the person who produced it saw. Those notices are quoted in full below.

Exports

Every report exports to CSV, Excel (XLSX) and PDF, with the filters and the period written into the file.

  • Small exports download immediately. Larger ones are run in the background so a request is not held open while a workbook is assembled or a PDF is rendered.
  • Background exports appear in an export history with their status, and a finished file stays downloadable for 24 hours.
  • The history can be tidied — expired rows and requests that never started can be cleared. Rows that are ready, running or failed stay, because each still holds something somebody needs.
  • Producing and downloading an export are both audited, and clearing the history does not remove those entries.
The reports screen, showing a collections-by-month chart counted from issued receipts and buttons to export the report as CSV, Excel or PDF.
The reports overview, and the export controls every report carries. The chart counts issued receipts only, and a month with nothing in it is left out rather than drawn as zero.

Frequently asked questions

What reports are available?

There are 11: Receipt register, Donation register, Donor report, Head-wise report, Donation type report, Payment mode report, Daily collection, Monthly collection, Financial year summary, and preparation views for Form 10BD and Form 10BE.

Every one is a view over receipts your organisation has already issued — grouped, filtered and totalled. None of them invents a figure.

Can reports be exported to Excel?

Yes. Every report exports to CSV, Excel (XLSX) and PDF.

Small exports download in the request. Larger ones run in the background and appear in an export history, where a finished file stays downloadable for 24 hours before it expires.

Why do two reports on the same period show different totals?

Because they count different receipts, and each report states which on screen and in its export.

A register that includes drafts is the book; one restricted to issued receipts is the ledger; one covering issued and voided is everything that ever consumed a number. A voided receipt keeps its number but not its money, so a report counting numbers and a report counting rupees will legitimately disagree.

Does Jinseva Receipts file Form 10BD?

No. It prepares a donor-wise statement from your own issued receipts, in the dimensions Form 10BD asks about, and files nothing.

Prepared from your own issued receipts, in the dimensions Form 10BD asks about. It is not certified as conforming to the current statutory schema — the authoritative layout has not been confirmed against the Income Tax Department’s published specification. Check every row against the Department’s current utility before filing.

Can it produce a Form 10BE certificate?

No, and no software can.

A preparation list, not a certificate. Form 10BE is issued by the Income Tax Department after Form 10BD is filed and accepted; this system cannot produce that document. The “Ready to certify” column names what is missing per donor — an identifier, an address, or a valid 80G registration on the receipt date.

Is a record kept of who exported what?

Yes. Producing an export and downloading it are both written to the append-only audit log.

Clearing rows from the export history does not touch those entries, so “who took a copy of the donor register, when, and with what filters?” stays answerable afterwards.

Report on your own receipts

Register your organisation, record donations as they arrive, and the registers, breakdowns and financial-year summaries follow from what you have already entered.
