What Jinseva Receipts costs

The plans below are read from the live catalogue the application bills from, so what is printed here is what an invoice would be raised at. No online payment is taken through the application.

How is Jinseva Receipts priced?

By subscription, monthly or yearly, with limits on team size, receipts a year, storage and the number of receipts sent per month. A plan is chosen from inside the application once your organisation is registered.

An organisation with no subscription is unrestricted — plan limits begin to apply once a plan has been chosen.

Each list is what that plan includes. Anything not listed is not part of it — the government-form reports and custom receipt designs, for instance, are on the paid tier and not on Free.

What billing does produce

Choosing a plan raises a real invoice, even though no money moves through the application.

  • Invoices are numbered per organisation per financial year, in a series of their own, and carry a frozen snapshot of both parties as they were at the time.
  • Each invoice has a PDF, and the billing screen lists every invoice and every payment recorded against your organisation.
  • Usage is shown against your limits — team members, receipts this year, storage, sends this month and report exports this month.
  • Reading billing and changing it are separate permissions, so a treasurer can see the position without being able to change the plan.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay for a plan online?

No. No online payment provider is connected, so the application does not take card or UPI payments.

A plan can be chosen and an invoice raised against your organisation, with an invoice number, both parties’ details and a PDF. Settling it happens outside the application.

What happens when a subscription lapses?

Writing pauses; reading never does.

Creating, editing, issuing and changing settings are refused with a message naming what still works. Reading records, running reports, downloading exports and receipt PDFs, and the donor-facing verification page are all untouched — a trust must always be able to get its own data out, and a donor’s verification link must not stop working because an invoice went unpaid.

What if my organisation has no subscription at all?

It is unrestricted. An organisation with no subscription is not limited by plan entitlements.

That includes every organisation registered before the billing module existed. Limits apply once a plan has been chosen.

How do upgrades and downgrades work?

An upgrade applies immediately, with credit for the unused part of the period you have already paid for. A downgrade waits until the current period ends.

A tenant paying more gets what they paid for at once; a tenant paying less keeps what they have already bought. Cancellation takes effect at period end, and there is no early refund.

Is GST added?

Only if the deployment is configured with a tax rate, and by default it is not.

The mechanism is complete — place of supply, CGST and SGST within the supplier’s state, IGST outside it, both GSTINs on the invoice. With no rate configured the invoice states that no tax was applied rather than printing a zero line.

Register, then choose a plan

Registration does not ask for a plan. Your organisation starts unrestricted, and the plan is chosen from the billing screen when you are ready.
